The pilgrim and the archeological
center of Bodhgaya boast of several places worth seeing in
and around it. Besides the Mahabodhi temple the Archeological

style of architecture. The Vishnupad temple was built by Rani
Ahilya Bai of Indore way back in the 18th century. In fact
Gaya is the place to be in and participate in the rituals
of the various Hindu festivals. In Gaya the Archaeological
Museum has several exhibits that are worth seeing. The One
thousand stone steps in Gaya lead to the Brahmajuni Hill,
the perfect place to see the whole of Gaya.
