Aqua Tourism in Goa

Have you ever heard of attaining Nirvana on earth? Now experience it with GTDC's latest product offering, St Lucia, Goas most exciting tourism product.

St Lucia is a Wooden House Boat situated in the backwaters of GOA - one of the most beautiful and preferred holiday destinations around the world. The boat is made entirely of Eco-friendly materials like bamboo mat, Areca nut trees, coir etc and has beds which supposedly have healing powers. The houseboat is of excellent construction and has luxurious furnishings with exquisite flooring and hull. The houseboat is provided with a sun deck and a spacious living area.

You will experience a totally different Goa as you sail down the untapped Goan waterways with this boat, watching life actually come to a stand still, watching the folk of yore tapping toddy and getting a glimpse of small hutments all along. In fact this boat is an angler's paradise because the boat sails through an area which is fertile for sport fishing. Fish caught by guests will be cooked to delight the connoisseur of good taste by the expert Chef on board. There will also be game collaterals like cards and chess boards provided to the guests on demand so as to keep the young and old engaged since the environment on board will be conducive to these games.

There is also a qualified doctor on board who will offer rejuvenating massages at the most nominal rates. Imagine lying down on the sundeck being massaged as you sail down the backwaters, soak up the sun and see the emerald of the east in all its glory, a blissful experience like none other isn't it?

The houseboat has attached toilets, separate toilets for crew, spacious passage and a neat, classy kitchen.

GTDC has resolved to maintain clean, good quality linen, blankets, towels etc. Goa Tourism's hallmark is its focus on safety hence the boat has comprehensive insurance, the kitchen is properly protected from hazards by fireproofing and fire extinguishers, the boat complies to all safety standards and has hence passed the stringent seaworthiness test of the Captain of ports.
