The Candolim Beach is one tourist destination that is far from the madding crowds of the other beaches in the Beach Capital of India Goa. The quiet resort is charming with the bountiful beauty of nature. The white sandy beach is a major draw now though earlier it used to be the hangout of the few travelers. The scrub-covered dunes enhance the beauty of the straight and sandy Candolim beach. While at the Candolim beach do not miss out the Aguada Fort. For road transport there are plenty of buses that ply between Panaji, Calangute via Sinquerim. Even though swimming is considered safe you must check out with the lifeguards for the strength of the undercurrents.

Candolim beach comes as an ideal beach for those who are slowly getting tired of the crowded beaches of Calangute or Anjuna. Though tourists quite often frequent Candolim beach, you can still find some quiet places for yourself. If you want to try your hand at fishing, you are welcome to do so too. Some hotels at Candolim beaches offer yoga and meditation session which will give any tourist a sense of relief from all the stress and fatigue that he has been trying to run away from by being in Goa.

Candolim is the best beach if you want solitude from the hustle and bustle of Aguada though not expecting too much of facilities. There is good food and long and straight beach backed by scrub-covered dunes with little shelter.
